FalconEyes RX-18TD Bi-Color Flexible Light with RX-18OB+RX-18SBHC

This is my workhorse lighting in fact I am buying a second setup. I do recommend getting a heavy duty stand for it. It is pretty heavy. It has so many options and the quality is impressive!

After owing this light for 1.5 years, I’ve concluded the biggest win for this light is it’s physical flexibility. There are some design flaws that make using this light awkward, but not difficult, such as the hanging wire. It’s location is positioned upside down causing the control box cable, which is already short, that connects to the light to run down then to the light.The control box menu is delicate. Guard it from any sharp or hard things touching it. One of DJI Osmo batteries feel from 2ft onto the menu screen causing it crack and unreadable. The light still works but I was unable to read the metering.

Good and very ligh. Use mainly for shooting on cars and they are easy to rig. Accesories are great.Remember to buy the RC.

I love this light. I've already used it several times with my other light kit. The only issue I have is the bulky power supply that controls the brightness of the color and light color. But I want to buy another one.

Full disclosure - I am quite new to the technology and techniques for recording video. I purchased this light for our church to support the recording of short (approx 5-10 min) daily devotionals by members of the leadership team. With the help of our pastor's son (who is a professional videographer) we selected this light and then found a way to position it so that it took advantage of the white ceilings in our "studio". By raising it close to the ceiling and angling it up to bounce off of the ceiling we got a nice diffuse light that looks flattering on their faces and a minimal amount of reflection from those that wear eyeglasses. The light certainly works well for us.
