Fantastic, all metal, build quality with excellent optics. Very sharp at it's maximum f2.0 aperture! Contrast and rendering are great as is resistance to flare. A nice lens hood is also included and it mounts easily to the lens. Aperture ring is a real bonus and it clicks perfectly.Autofocus is good but not as good as a Sony native lens. It can hunt a little in low light conditions, but still very useable. For the price, there is nothing to complain about. The build quality and optics make this lens a very good buy.
Wow, that lens takes incredible pictures! The clarity is amazing, and I love the bokeh it produces. You can really tell a difference in the image quality.
Amazing value in todays economic environment. Super sharp but not overly clinical looking, fast AF on my Zf, accurate. I pair this with the Nikon 40mm F2 on a Zf in a Peak Design 3L sling bag and you have the ultimate street, walk about kit. Both of those lenses are no brainers for a Zf (or any Nikon camera).
