This light is so unbelievably versatile. I’m a filmmaker and photographer and having good lighting is so important to me. This thing does it all. Portrait Lighting. Key lighting. Product lighting. Special effects lighting. 100 watts with a long lasting battery and included power supply means I can shoot all day. The barn doors and diffuser are great accessories and the case is awesome. It’s a bit on the expensive side but it truly can fill the roll of many lights in one convenient piece.

This Zhiyun F100 RGB LED Light is a well built, solid product. It is a bright and powerful light stick. I have quite of few of these light sticks at my studio and this is my go-to when I need bright! The set includes the light stick, a quality carrying case, a 120 watt power adapter and some accessories. The light stick can be charged with the adapter or via USB-C. At MAX mode, it runs at 4000K and 100W. It can get hot but its internal cooling system works great. It includes heat sinks and 6 FOC fans to prevent overheating. This is a really quality light stick - very useful when I need a bit more power and brightness for my shots.

This is an amazing and powerful light with sooooo many uses! It is incredibly well made which I would expect at this price and from this brand. If you have not heard of Zhiyun, they are a great brand that I believe is mostly known for their gimbals (which are fantastic!). For traveling purposes this is a no-brainer and could stand in as a keylight if needed, but I think where it really shines is in adding dramatic/cinematic effects to a scene. Between the barn doors, the softbox cover and the grid attachment you can direct the light in a variety of ways that gives you a lot of flexibility in such a small form factor. Of course, being RGB is the big deal to add drama to your scene without needing to use gels and whatnot. The fact that it is rechargeable with built in batteries is a real WIN WIN for the traveling photographer, videographer or filmmaker. It may seem a tad bit expensive, but it's really not when you consider how powerful and flexible this thing really is. I am totally in love with it!

ZHIYUN is more known for stabilizers than lighting but that is about to change. This combination F100 rgb light is EXTREMELY bright. it comes with a gorgeous case, has great accessories tobe used for video and photoshoots, & is by far the highest quality lightsaber I've ever worked with.The fans are extremely quiet so this can be still used on video production sites.The video modes are all of the standard modes for a lightsaber of this caliber. It turns toany color you want, has various, tv, fireplace, & video modes, & the light lasts for a few hours. HOWEVER... the light is powered by built in 2600mAH lithium ion batteries and will work with both a type USB C charger or a 120W power adapter. so you can leave it plugged in or bring a v mount battery to keep it running indefinitely.

I ordered a very similar light from Zhiyun earlier this year and gave it an emphatic endorsement in my review. The only gripe I had was that there was no case. In my view, this is inexcusable for a light intended to be portable--particularly one with a somewhat unusual form factor. I don't know if Zhiyun read my review or (more likely) it's sheer coincidence but this light now comes with a very nice case! The case will be very familiar to owners of Zhiyun gimbals but there's a very nice touch--the light cases are gray while the gimbal cases are black.As for the light itself, it is an extremely versatile and seriously bright light that I've used for creating photo and video content. The first thing I noticed about this light is just how bright it is. I've been through well over 100 lights for photography purposes in the past couple of years and this is one of the brightest. It's almost certainly the light in my collection that best balances brightness and portability. Equally as impressive is the heat dissipation. The light stays remarkably cool even after extended use. The product description says it has an advanced radiator, six fans and intelligent temperature control and I definitely believe it.You can easily change the brightness and color temperature through a highly functional and intuitive control. The light is powered by built in 2600mAH lithium ion batteries and will work with both a type C USB charger or a 120W power adapter. The battery life was decent--obviously, the brighter the light you need the lower the battery life but just messing around with it changing brightness often I got close to two hours and probably could have gone more. Note that the fast charger and power adapter is not included. The light has a 1/2" screw hole on the bottom and that further enhances its versatility.This is marketed as a 'combo' and that apparently means you get an extra 120W switching adapter. Nothing wrong with that, but unless I'm mistaken that's the only difference between the combo and the 'stock' version of this light. That notwithstanding, a great light you can do a lot of different things with. Highly recommended!
