Description
The VO-7U uses a supercardioid dynamic microphone capsule, making it the best podcast microphone and streamer microphone for untreated bedrooms or gaming stations. Often these rooms will have too much echo and reverb which distracts viewers and listeners. With the VO-7U that worry is no more.
We added RGB LEDs for streamers who want their microphone on camera to match their stream's theme and aesthetic. The VO-7U features 12 RGB preset colors and effects.
In 2022 we shouldn't settle for micro USB anymore. The VO-7U features the latest in USB tech. This allows it to work easily with mobile devices as well, like Android phones and Apple's latest generation of iPads. Most native Android camera apps will automatically select the VO-7U as their audio source. Filming YouTube vlogs using your mobile device and getting premium audio has never been so easy.
No adapters are needed in order to put the VO-7U on a stand. We natively support 3/8" and 5/8". So whether you're a boom arm user or you prefer a table top stand, we got you covered.
Things can get exciting in the middle of gameplay. But your audio shouldn't suffer just because you want to get loud and celebrate a win. As soon as you apply more than 50% gain to the VO-7U, the built-in hardware analog limiter kicks in to help prevent you from clipping on your stream or in your podcast. You have many things to worry about as a creator, your audio clarity shouldn't be one of them.
Podcasters and Streamers have lots of options when it comes to having their voices heard. We made sure the VO-7U works natively on all major operating systems, no drivers or software required. • Windows • macOS • Android • iPhones* • iPadOS • chromeOS • Raspberry Pi OS • PS4 / PS5 • Xbox.

Just getting into producing YouTube videos , I wanted to invest in upgrading my audio/desk space set up. I originally invested in a Blue Yeti and although it’s a great condenser starter microphone for an affordable price, there are some pit falls to it.Knowing nothing about microphones/audio or even video producing, everything has been a learning curve.Condenser microphones are very sensitive and will usually pick up every little sound. My blue yeti literally picks up the birds chirping from outside my house. From what I gather, condenser mics can be plugged into a computer or camera directly without the need for an audio interface.Dynamic microphones are less sensitive in that they block out all other noise but the sound going directly into it. Almost all dynamic microphones require an audio interface which can cost anywhere from $100 plus. So purchasing a dynamic microphone almost always will need to also purchase an interface like a Focusrite Scarlett Solo. This deity microphone is a dynamic mic but doesn’t require an audio interface to power it. It can be plugged right into your computer or camera, which is a huge plus! Never mind that this kit comes with a decent boom arm and in WHITE!! Which is impossible to find for both the mic and boom arm that’s a higher quality then the cheap white boom arms Amazon sells. When recording videos the white almost blends in and becomes less a focal point during recording then a black boom arm and black microphone in front of your face. It’s a great value for the price. I just received the microphone the other day and haven’t yet played around with it, but once I do I will update this review further.
Disclosure: I received this free in a contest (but not to give a review)This is a decent mic, and I make my living through recording sound. It doesn't have the bass presence I expected, but has good clarity for voice. You won't get that radio announcer SM-7B sound (and that might be a bonus to some) and it works on USB-C so you don't run into gain issues with your mic interface. It puts out plenty of signal, and has a crisp sound to it that's not too poppy or sibilant. I do not find a need to use a pop filter.I haven't given it a good test for bleed or rejection in groups, but it feels like it should work out well.Overall, I think it's a great value, and has good sound. Deity seems to have either good products, or not-so-good ones. This is one of their better offerings, and it sounds great for zoom calls or podcasts.
i like this usb c mic, it keeps me from peaking and sounds very natural even in rooms that are exactly quiet
Great quality mic especially for the price
